Hi, I'm heidi

Today

As of today, (February 21, 2022), we are waiting on our first shipment of Showtime Pop Up Stages ( www.ShowtimePopUpStage.com ) !  I cannot wait to get my hands on them and share them with the world.  Check out the video about the stage (INSERT Link to my YouTube Channel video of the stage) !

It all started with one movie…

I watched the Greatest Showman and that is when the Showtime Pop Up Stage idea was born.  I was immediately moved by the music and the storyline.  I am a performer, grew up singing and dancing and was even on American Idol, Season 2 (back in the day when I was 17 in 2002)! Simon actually liked me, whew!

Fast forward to my adult life… God blessed us with two girls, and after watching them grow, we could tell they also had the performer genetics and I HAD to make a stage for my girls to sing and dance on!  But the problem was I did not want anything permanently built into our home.

I searched and searched for a portable red theater stage that you could put together when you wanted to play and then take it down and fold it up for easy storage.  I could not believe it, but THERE WASN’T ONE!

So I went to work making the first prototype.  It was amazing!  It was waaaaayyyy too big though and the folding and easy storage part was not apart of it yet.  So in our living room sat the enormous prototype of the first Showtime Pop Up Stage.  It stayed there for a solid year, lol!  God bless my husband for putting up with my enormous dreams and inventions.

Business Partnership

My youngest kid was in preschool at the time and I mentioned to the teacher about my stage idea.  She loved it and was very encouraging and told me to keep working on it.  She asked me if I knew the kid who’s mom and dad were on Shark Tank in my little ones class?  I said, “What?!?!? No!!!  That is amazing!”  I said, “Does she help others with their ideas?”  She said, “I don’t know but all you can do is ask.”  So I did and the rest is history!

Desiree Haller, owner and inventor of the Subsafe ( thesubsafe.com ) , and I had a meeting for me to share my idea.  After I was finished explaining, she smiled and said, “I love it, I would love to partner with you and help you bring this idea to market.”  I sat there, dumb founded. I was in shock that she actually liked my idea!

It has been a long process and I have loved every single second!

I have had many ideas for inventions and small businesses over the years, but the door was closed for one reason or another.  I was bummed every time, but kept trucking along praying that eventually one would stick.

I want to make more inventions!  Excited to see what is next!
